I live in the house with trees
Growing out of the floor.
Old walls around the things
Of somebody’s life,
Whispers among the autumn leaves
And steps of the Moon in the land…
“Do you know?
Does
Anybody
Know?
I would like to listen please.”
And when I open my eyes,
There’s always a dark-blue window
Up over my head.
So every night I fall
Into the abyss of dreams
With the dragonflies.
Oh, I fall down
Into the sky…
I feel grass and clouds,
I feel stars and rivers,
I feel everything
The old earth can feel
Here
In the old house
At the heatherfield.
Oh, just a haunted house…
So, maybe you’d visit here,
In my old house.
My old, old house
Down in the heatherfield…
