In the alley of windows and burn-red bricks
I saw her ripping rosey pomegranates,
Dressed in ragged cloud, played her nasty tricks,
Sharply smirked, spectral goddess of stray-cats.
Dust and lavender,
Down-pour of gasoline,
Lungs of fog -
She's coming for me.
Stolen words in my pockets,
What should I believe?
Whistling skull lockets -
She-ee-e's coming for me!!
Her hair is treads of glass and bluish snow;
Through the bone, freezing fingers in my spine,
She scrapped off the reasons, stopped all my clocks,
Gave me cyanide in her raspberry wine.
Dust and lavender,
Down-pour of gasoline,
Lungs of fog -
She's coming for me.
Stolen words in my pockets,
What should I believe?
Whistling skull lockets -
She-ee-e's coming for me!!
In thick violet mist of streetlamps 'n ivy
't's filling the garden like a harsh lullaby.
Crawling in deep creek while their amber ablaze
To the core, bright eyes of dragonfly.
Dust and lavender,
Down-pour of gasoline,
Lungs of fog -
She's coming for me.
Stolen words in my pockets,
What should I believe?
Whistling skull lockets -
She-ee-e's coming for me!!
